Giza was rescued last month after she returned to the shelter with these injuries after a few months. She is a very sweet girl who is very much wanting to get on with her life, onto bigger and better things Giza is very loyal to her person, hello velcro Giza is very athletic, perhaps a sport prospect She is queen bee and tends to enjoy being the boss Giza is people oriented and thrives on pleasing her handler Giza does have prey drive and is working through trusting men, who doesn't blame her after what she has been through? She has made great strides in a few short weeks, even putting on some healthy weight. She would really love for an active family who wants a rewarding rehab story to come forward to adopt her. Giza is very velcro, gravitates towards women and wants very much to be loved on. She did well with a tester dog at the shelter and has been as good as she can be in her circumstances. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport. Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
