Posted Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois. Do you need a best friend? Ride or die? Hype man? What about a partner for every car ride, road trip or jog around the block? Most importantly do you need someone that wants to cuddle you so hard they might get inside your shirt? Jeepers-TX is the best partner in crime you could ask for. Down for anything as long as you’re with him. Jeepers is happy, playful and stoked about life. Jeepers loves car rides, water and loves to show you his toys (may or may not share but he is going to show you just how awesome his things are). Jeepers AKA Jeeper Beeper is working on polite boy manners and is doing well (when he can calm his excitement down a smidge) He plays a little rough for some dogs/small dogs and is still working on his social cues (may not be a good fit for older/grouchy dogs without a lot of management) Currently lives with a VERY chill cat and is learning to ignore her however, I don’t think he would be good for just any cat. Long story short Jeepers is a goofy doofus and is looking for his life long BEST friend. All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and one-year subscription. We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport. The basic information that we have available is in our posting, but sometimes fosters will post updates on the MAD Rescue Facebook page as well, .facebook/groups/malinoisanddutchshepherdrescueinc. Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
