We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet adorable Timber! Timber is a 4-month-old, 26-pound terrier/shepherd mix. He is a happy go lucky boy with a sweet disposition who is just enjoying life. Timber would love an active home where he can explore the town and go for walks or hikes, or a family who has lots of time to play. He is working on his house training so would do well with a work from home parent and maybe a yard for frequent potty breaks until completely trained. He does well in a kennel when needed and sleeps good throughout the night. He even puts himself to bed before everyone else. He’s just a baby after all Timber lives in a foster home with dogs, cats, chickens, a bunny, and even a potbelly pig. He does well with all of them and just goes with the flow. He’s shown no prey drive and is very good with all the pets in the house, but loves the cats. Timber also loves playing with a doodle mix and is excited to see her and follow her around. He’s working on his basic commands and since he’s very smart and food motivated, he’s catching on quick. Continuing training with this intelligent dog is a must. Timber is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines for his age. His adoption fee is $350. A refundable training deposit of $100 will be also due upon adoption. Training must be provided in a timely fashion to ensure our pups become the best canine citizens. The training deposit will be refundable within 3 months of the adoption date. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
