Posted Breed: Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat). No out of state adoptions will be accepted neither will northern california will not be accepted to adopt her. From the Guardian -- who has her now Dog friendly: yes Cat friendly: yes Kids friendly: yes Leash trained: yes Potty trained: yes Crate trained: yes House trained: yes Weight: 33 pounds Age: around 11months spayed : yes Fully vaccinated: yes Never. she's not aggressive at all!!..she can be interacting with kids and other dogs with no problem. Hours left alone: 10 to 11 hours daily in my room. Separation anxiety: not at all! How long have the dog?9 months How did they get the dog? I rescued the dog in Mexico during a trip to visit my mom, she was walking injured on the highway, so I took her to the veterinary immediately, then wait until she was totally recovered, then afterwards I was trying to find a good home for her in Mexico, but was practically impossible. Reason why they giving up? Unfortunately, I don't have enough space in the place where currently live, is just an small room I'm looking for someone who has the time and the space for her, so she can have a second opportunity to be happy after all. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
