Posted Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff. Introducing the beautiful Maze ♥️ this beauty queen Cane Corso just turned 3 years old and is searching for the perfect home! Maze was surrendered to one of our training partners last year when her size and guardian breed tendencies became too much for their frenchie & family. While she is incredibly loved, our trainer would love for her to find a pet home where she can be treated like the queen she is. Maze has had formal training and is crate/house trained. She knows basic commands and has been socialized with people well. While she’s a little messy with her drool she is a clean and easy keeper. She loves to snuggle and suckle on a blankie. Maze is also incredibly food motivated and eager to please. Maze has so many fans and is dearly loved.. she will only be adopted to the very best ♥️ Maze is 115 pounds, spayed and vaccinated. Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
