Posted Breed: Standard Poodle. Standard Poodles have a goofy streak and love to play. They form strong bonds with their family and are very eager to please. Because of this they are highly trainable and love to learn. They are good dogs for novice owners and adapt well to apartment living. They are affectionate with their family, kid and dog friendly, and friendly towards strangers. They are considered hypoallergenic and do not shed like a normal dogs do. Meet Rafiki. You could not ask for a more colorful stunning baby. His personality is just as big and sweet as he is beautiful. He loves to be with you and cuddle on your lap or be held in your arms. I have posted pictures of him before and after grooming so you can see the different coloring. His mom is black in color and weighs around 50-55lbs and his dad is a light caramel latte color and around 70lbs. He is being raised indoor around children, other dogs, and cats on our farm. He will come home to you up to date on his puppy shots and de wormings. We started house and crate training around 4 1/2 weeks of age and bathing at 2 weeks of age as well. By starting him at a young age it really goes a long way for when he gets older. Introducing this at a young age imprints them with good habits as they get older. He is a very smart puppy who picks up things easily and is doing great with all his training. He will come with AKC full registration, puppy informational packet, written health guarantees, harness, leash, toy and shot and worming up to date with written records. He is ready for his new home now. We will not hold without a deposit. We do not accept checks of any kind. We accept cash or Venmo. Deposits are nonrefundable unless something happens to him while in my care then you would receive the deposit back or transfer it to another puppy if one is still available. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
