Puppies are raised in our home, parents are our house companions. We have over 30 years experience raising high quality, healthy, well-socialized, happy, loving puppies. Sire is an AKC registered St. Poodle. Dam is an AKC registered Old English Sheepdog. Visit our website for additional photos, details about the litter, photos of the sire and dam and to glean an understanding of our mission. We specifically breed this cross to produce exceptional Service Dog candidates. For that reason, we dedicate ourselves to exceptional socialization, and care of our breeding dogs and their puppies. Folks who purchase a pet/companion reap the benefits of all that special attention we provide every puppy in the litter. We ask that you fill out an application at our website. www.IntentionCanine.com We are located in south-central Illinois. We prefer you come to our home to pick up your puppy. We do not air-ship puppies. We will travel up to 250 miles for a local delivery by car or we can meet you at the airport in St. Louis where you can then take the puppy home as carry-one (check airlines policies) Fees apply for delivery.

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
