CONCORD NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Concord Best Guess for Breed: Pointer mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of November 2023 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 38 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested Currently Living at: DC area foster home. Special Adoption Considerations: Because Concord has been a bit nervous on walks, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog. Due to Concord's shy personality, we do not recommend her for a home with children under the age of 12. Concord is Looking For: Her adventure buddies! Concord has so much joyful young-dog energy and she is eager to burn it all doing those fun things. Romps in local parks, hiking in the mountains, running with her humans - sounds great! Making new pup pals at doggie daycare and playing with them? Sounds great too! Agility training? Sure! Mental enrichment would be great too - how about some nosework? Exploring all the toys sounds great too, as well as quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved and under her own roof every time the sun goes down. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes, cuddles, and loyalty for all her days. What My Foster Says About Me: "I have been taking Concord to the dog park and she is friendly with humans and dogs; she has shown absolutely no signs of aggression! She is very good in her crate and sleeps/is quiet through the night. Concord does show signs of fear towards certain noises outside and needs help building confidence on walks and when going to the bathroom outside.
