TREVOR - PUG (SHORT COAT) DOG FOR ADOPTION

Posted Breed: Pug (short coat). Trevor is a male pug who is about 8 years young. He is affectionately known as “the bestest boy.” Trevor had part of his lower jaw removed as it was broken when he came into KPR care. Because of this, his little tongue is always hanging out, he needs extra time to eat, and needs wet food mixed in with his kibble. He is also blind in one eye, so he can be a little cautious in spaces that are not well lit. Other than these small accommodations, Trevor has no idea that he’s any different from any other pug. Trevor walks well on a leash with a harness, gets along great with friendly dogs of all sizes, and hasn’t met a human that he doesn’t love to snuggle. He loves children who are old enough to treat him respectfully. Trevor is house-trained, but has occasionally marks in his foster home. He has recently been neutered and we are hopeful that this will take care of his occasional marking issues. Trevor currently sleeps in a kennel overnight, but he would probably prefer a comfy human bed to share. His foster family does recommend kenneling him when nobody is home so he doesn’t get anxious and behave poorly. Trevor has spent most of his life with one loving owner, and he can’t wait to find his forever home
