Mini is just over a year old and has so much to offer her furever home! Mini came from Armenia to Alberta and this fun loving gal is ready for her new life! Mini is paralyzed from the waist down however her back legs and tail she signs of movement so there is potential hope for this little gal to be rehabbed! Mini currently requires diapering due to being paralyzed and is a little superstar during clean up/bath time. This little gal gets along swimmingly with the resident dog and cat, only barking at them once during initial introductions. Mini has not shown any signs of aggression but we have had no exposure to children so UNKNOWN. She eats, drinks water and is playing with toys like the happy, content dog she is, she is an absolute sweetheart. We have only heard Mini bark when meeting our animals and when we leave the house, however she does stop barking in approx. 5-10 minutes after we leave the home and she settles.

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
