Description
Dog Breed: Pug / French Bulldog / Mixed. Coco is 11 going on 3, they say the 70s are the new 40s. She is a medium energy French Bulldog and Pug who was found dumped in a shelter when KPR scooped her up. Loves -Walks and entertaining herself by throwing toys in the air -When she’s done walking and playing she is cuddly and affectionate -Her special talent …going in reverse…. It’s the funniest thing -Loves little stuffed toys with squeakers -Blueberries and fruit (dog safe of course) -Cats, she love cats The Basics -Medium energy level -Crate trained -Housebroken -Food motivated and doesn’t like to share (me too Coco me too) -Commands, she knows gentle and sit -Is improving her runway skills, ie leash walk -Is fine with other dogs with proper introduction Need work on -she needs time to trust new people and can be a little snarky,( I guess if I was dumped in the shelter I would need some time to trust) -continue leash work The NO’s -No kids, teens who are respectful and dog savvy are ok -Don’t touch my feet (ok that’s the pug), don’t stand over me or touch my belly Coco needs time to trust new people, would do best in a quiet home who can take their time allowing her to come out of her shell Location: Indianapolis

Breed overview
Overview:
The Frenchie Pug is an endearing crossbreed, a delightful blend of the French Bulldog and the Pug, originating from the designer dog trend of the last few decades. This charming hybrid typically boasts a compact, muscular build with a short, smooth coat that comes in various colors, often inheriting the characteristic flat face and wrinkled features from both parents. Temperament-wise, they are generally affectionate, playful, and incredibly loyal, making them excellent companions. Their relatively low exercise needs and adaptable nature make them well-suited for apartment living and families, even those with children, as they thrive on human interaction. However, potential owners should be aware of health considerations common to brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, such as potential respiratory issues and susceptibility to heatstroke. Regular veterinary check-ups and a mindful approach to exercise in warm weather are crucial for their well-being.
