Dog Breed: Spaniel / Dachshund / Mixed. NAME: Chance STATS: Male, Spaniel/Doxie mix, 2 ½ years, 10 lbs. TEMPERAMENT: Shy. Needs seasoned owner to work with issues (see below). Playful, but not overly so. Shows fear of men Needs to be WITH ANOTHER dog (smaller dog only) SKILLS Doing great with potty training. Crate trained. Good with dogs. Has not been exposed to children. Has not been exposed to cats. MORE ABOUT ME: Likes playing with other dogs. Submissive. Needs patient owner willing to work on behavior (see details below). Suggest training (basic manners). ONE LAST THING: Chance is a sweet boy who really needs confidence building and a patient family to work with him. He's playful with other dogs and smart, non-aggressive, a good eater. He is resistant to being handled so needs to be reassured and worked with on a scheduled basis. He knows how to use the doggy door, but has had a few accidents inside. Would benefit from basic training class.
