If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online application. Hi, I'm Mars, a handsome Chow rescued from a shelter where I was found as a stray. I am a sweet and playful boy who can be a bit reactive when it comes to treats and food, but I promise to be a good boy with some training. I can be a bit nippy and mouthy when I play so I would likely do best in a home without very young children. Please be cautious with me when opening doors as I am an escape artist. I don't seem to know basic commands yet, but I am a very intelligent dog who is eager to learn with the right owner. Since I was found as a stray, I have limited exposure to other dogs, so it's unknown how I would do in a home with another pooch. Volunteer and kennel staff will learn more once I get to participate in playgroups at the kennel. It's also unknown how I would do with cats or children.
