Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Wheat is a curious girl that loves pets and kisses. She is picking up potty training quickly and understands outside is where the pawty happens! During the recent rain storm she pottied on pee pads- this dainty girl hasn't yet gotten used to the rain. Wheat loves supervising her human in the bathroom, getting into puppy mischief, and loves loves being snuggled. Wheat does great on the leash!! After a couple of zoomie excitable minutes she calms down and focuses on the walk. Wheat does great sleeping in the crate at night - she protests for about 5 minutes but then settles in for her sleeps for the night Wheat was found with her 2 sisters, Corn and Oats in a crate near a rescuer’s home. Rye, an older male puppy, was also abandoned with them but he was outside the crate. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)
