Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Meet Tawny, a gentle and quiet 2.5-year-old Lab mix with a sweet soul and a tender heart. Tawny is housebroken and working on building her confidence while learning to walk on a leash. She's timid by nature, but once she feels safe, she’s a friendly, calm presence who just wants to be near you. Tawny would do best in a home with another medium/large dog to play with and help bring her out of her shell. Tawny loves spending time in the yard, quietly observing the world or relaxing in the sun. She’s not one for loud environments—sudden movements and noises can startle her—so she’ll thrive best in a peaceful home with patient owners who are willing to go slow and let her come out of her shell at her own pace. She doesn’t need a busy lifestyle to be happy—just a safe, quiet place to feel secure and loved. With time, consistency, and kindness, Tawny will be a loyal, loving companion.
