She may be shy at first, but quickly shows her wiggly, happy self. She’s got a funny, endearing way about her and is always ready to play or cuddle once she feels secure. Maxine is a fairly relaxed pupper with fun bursts of playfulness balanced by quiet moments of rest. She absolutely thrives on love and gentle encouragement. Maxine does beautifully with other dogs and enjoys playing with pups of all shapes and sizes. She’s very submissive and gentle—her go-to move when unsure is to lie down and take it all in. She would likely do fine in a home with or without a doggy sibling. Maxine has been around kids of all ages and interacts with them very well. Maxine has lived with cats and showed no interest. In terms of training, Maxine is crate trained, housebroken, and walks very well on a leash. She sees her crate as her safe space and can be found lounging in it during the day and sleeps soundly in it overnight.
