Name: Kelsie Best Guess for Breed: Boxer/Hound Best Guess for Age: 9 months as of July 2025 SEX: Female Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!): 39 lbs as of 6/29/25 - she might have just a bit more to grow Gets Along With: Kelsie does well with other dogs and cats! She hasn't lived with children that we know of, but has loved the children she has met. We are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area boarding partner Kelsie is Looking For: Kelsie is looking forward to having her own humans to show her all of the exciting things life has to offer. Trips to parks, playdates with pup pals, and new adventures are on Kelsie's to-do list! Oh, and LOTS of cuddles! Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved. She is a sweet and gentle girl who gets along very well with other pups and ESPECIALLY with children she meets! She kept rolling over for tummy rubs from the little kids where we were and gave so many kisses. She loved going into the car and napped peacefully when I drove. She is very good on the leash too!" #2: "Kelsie was the perfect houseguest today! My picky senior dog who usually is intimidated by new dogs immediately wanted to play with Kelsie! She is young but acts like a mature puppy- she was silent in the car, great on the leash, no accidents in the house, and even enjoyed a bath and some pampering! Kelsie enjoyed playing fetch with toys and chewing on them peacefully in the yard. In the house, she entertained herself by following us from room to room before enjoying a long nap on the fluffiest dog bed. When 3 neighborhood kids came by to play, she was thrilled to greet them, rolling over to offer herself up for belly rubs. She was an absolute dream, winning everyone over immediately with her happy, playful, well-adjusted temperament. She is the perfect size and has the cutest face!"
