Foster Location: Boise ID Age: Approximately 2 ½ Breed: Best guess: Lab/Mastiff – all we know for sure is he’s SUPER handsome Neutered vaccinated, microchipped Adoption fee: Adoption fee: $75.00 + microchip registration fee DO NOT email us, you must fill out an application if interested: Adoption Application: fuzzypawzrescue/adopt/adoption-application-2/ Gur is came to Boise from Stanislaus Animal services and has been fostering and training with the Dog Retreat Center since December. Gur is a loving happy guy who likes attention from people and his dog friends. He is healthy and full of energy and will be a wonderful companion. Gur’s ideal home will be consistent with rules and provide stability. Gur is still young and eager to please, but he is a large dog who will try to be pushy if he's allowed (he's very enthusiastic!). While we haven't had gur around many children, with proper guidance he could do well. Gur is leash trained, knows most basic commands, is crate trained, and is building his off leash reliability. He has been introduced to many dogs as well as cats, cats don't love him due to his enthusiasm. Gur did take a correction from the cats and didn't chase. The Dog Retreat Center will also include 2 in home lessons to support the transition upon his adoption.

The Mastador is a cross between a purebred Mastiff and a purebred Labrador Retriever. They are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds. The Mastador is a large dog that can stand from 28 to 36 inches and weigh anywhere between 100 to 200 pounds or more. These dogs are alert, cheerful, loyal and social. They are very strong dogs that have brown, expressive eyes and strong muscular legs. These dogs are suitable for families with older children as they get excited and may knock over small children by accident. These dogs are social and get along well with other dogs and pets. They are loyal and protective of their family and make very good companion dogs. They can fit into apartment life is sufficient exercise and running opportunities are provided although they would ideally need a house with a fenced yard.
