Dog Breed: Anatolian Shepherd / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Mabel, a big bundle of joy and goofiness ! This big, happy girlis all about living life to the fullest—whether that’s chasing a toy,galloping across the yard, or greeting you with a full-body wag and agiant smile. She has been living with a foster family, where some of herfavorite activities include roughhousing with her canine fosterbrother, keeping her humans company while they do yard chores, andleading the welcome committee for any new guests. She has a lot ofenergy, but once she's had play time with a similar-energy dog shemostly spends the day napping around the house. Because of herrambunctious spirit, we recommend a home with no small children(although she is gentle when meeting them). She is untested withcats. In general, Mabel struggles with excitability -- she can be overlyenthusiastic (jumpy) when greeting her favorite people and on walkswhen she sees other dogs she wants to meet. While she is improving withtraining, she needs an adopter who appreciates her energy and is willingto continue helping her channel her enthusiasm and zest for life ! Mabelis smart, eager to learn, and a perfect houseguest in her foster home, but she would loveto find a Furever home for the holidays.
