Description
Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (medium coat). Cattle Dog, female 3 years old Rally Girl! She did Rally, and made it out of Hesperia on all four's. 3 years old, Rally is a beautiful Queensland Heeler in need of a home! Rally started out on leash and she was either very excited to be here or she pulls on leash! but we've done some leash work and she is much better. Perhaps because she's gotten so much exercise, got it all out from being cooped up, and she's content to walk on a loose lead. Whatever the reason, she's walking well on leash. Rally like things in order! She wants everyone to be cool and calm and if some is running by, she needs to see why! She's not the fun police, more of an ambulance chaser. She wants to know what's up! Rally sleeps in a crate and doesn't make a peep! And she's lovely in the house. She's treat motivated and a very sweet girl. Rally invites attention, she's very soft. Would love to be on your couch... if that's ok. Looking for a nice last stop for Rally! More photos and updates: .facebook/media/set/?set=a.1493106091651040&type=3 Interested in Rally? Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
