Dog Breed: Anatolian Shepherd / Mixed (short coat). Meet Sasha – A Loyal Heart in Search of a New Home Hello dear reader — My name is Sasha. I’m a gentle and well-mannered Anatolian Shepherd mix with a heart as warm as the sunbeam I love to nap in. My beloved human recently passed on, and now I’m looking for someone kind (maybe a bit like Mary Poppins?) who might open their home and heart to me. I’m a devoted companion — I’ll give a bark when someone new approaches, just to keep you safe, but once you tell me all is well, I’ll settle down and go right back to lounging peacefully. I’m fully up to date on my shots and in good health. I enjoy company, I am docile and sweet and I’m also quite content having some quiet time alone if you need to step out. I eat at my own pace and appreciate a full water bowl nearby. Mostly, I’d love a gentle hand, a soft place to sleep, and someone who will check in on me now and then — just to say hello. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
