Sweet, very very playful little clown Approximate DOB 9/1/2024 – About 11-12 lbs Gretchen is a sweet, playful little girl who likes to steal shoes, play with toys, run around, and grab pants for attention. She is like a tiny, high energy, clown dog. This sweet playful girl came in due to severe aggression issues at the shelter she found herself at shortly after having puppies. She was a new mom and in a scary environment after possibly being a tiny stray on the streets with her family. very sad situation luckily a kid staff member realized she just needed to trust someone to let them in so they reached out to rescue. We said absolutely as we love helping new mothers who just need time to trust. She is now done with her mothering duties and looking for her happily ever after. Pretty little Gretchen is still working on house training but doing well. She is used to being in a crate or run when needed and taken outside to do her business though. She loves playing with other dogs but should be crated when food is involved as she can be food aggressive with other dogs. She also doesn't quite understand when her play becomes irritating with other dogs. She might do best as an only dog who can get all the love and attention. She does great with children she knows and loves. Super playful and loves attention from my granddaughters. She loves people and absolutely loves attention but would need proper meetings with certain people so someone may have been mean to her or threatening at some point. So it just depends on the person - some people she loves right away and others she hates until she trusts them. But she is getting much better and really she isn't dangerous at only 11.5 lbs. She is absolutely beautiful and would make a wonderful addition to anyone wanting a very active little cutie who follows them around like a tiny white shadow. She is an absolute doll for the right family. i suggest getting your application in quick because she won't last long with her beautiful long coat and playful personality. Spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations - Fee $300 We do welcome out-of-state adoptions. If you have other dogs it is recommended you bring them out to the meeting but not required.
