Lab/Hound Mix | 1–2 Years Old | Gentle Soul Rosie’s story began in a heartbreaking place—found at a landfill with her puppies before being brought into rescue—but she hasn’t let that dim her gentle, loving spirit. This 1–2-year-old Lab/Hound mix is the kind of dog who just wants to be close to her people, soaking up affection with a constantly wagging tail. Rosie is calm, sweet-natured, and incredibly respectful of other dogs and even the resident cat. She hasn’t had any accidents in the house and has quickly learned to enjoy daily walks—she walks beautifully on leash and never pulls. While she’s not quite sure what toys are yet, she loves being outside, rolling in the grass or just quietly taking in her surroundings. She thrives on routine and predictability and is most comfortable in a peaceful environment. Rosie can be a little timid around men, but she wants to be brave—her desire to make friends is clear. She would do best in a home with older children and someone home most of the time to help her continue building trust and confidence.
