Description
Dog Breed: French Bulldog. Please note Junior and 5 other french bulldogs came from the same household. They are very much like puppy mill dogs Hi, I’m Junior! I’m a lovable French Bulldog who thrives on snuggles, fetch, and just being near my person. Cheese is my absolute favorite treat, and I’ve mastered sit and come, especially when there’s a tasty reward involved. I love running around in a big backyard, exploring at my own pace, and spending quiet, cozy time with calm, gentle humans. I’ve bonded really well with older kids, and I think I’d do best in a calm, single-family home in a rural or suburban area where I can feel safe and relaxed. I do have some needs to be aware of. I get very anxious when left alone, so I really need someone who can be home most of the time with me. I’m sensitive to loud noises and city streets, so a busy urban environment is not the best fit for me. I’m not a fan of cats or large dogs, but I enjoy the company of smaller, friendly female dogs. With the right patient family to help me feel secure and loved, I will be the sweetest, most loyal companion you could ask for. Can’t wait to meet you! Ideal Home Requirements for Foster Dog: Type of Home: Detached single-family home in a rural or quiet suburban area. City life is overwhelming for him. People at Home: Needs someone home most or all of the time – he has severe separation anxiety and cannot be left alone for extended periods. Children: Best with calm, dog-aware older kids (e.g., 12+) or quiet adult/senior households. Not suited for homes with young or very active children. Other Pets: May cohabitate with small female dogs. No cats or large dogs. Lifestyle Fit: A quiet, mellow home is ideal. Not suited for highly active or constantly on-the-go families. Exercise Needs: Requires 2–3 daily play sessions in a secure yard. Leash walks are slow and cautious. Training Needs: Continued support with house training, basic commands, and separation anxiety. Very food-motivated (especially cheese). Allergies: Currently on limited-ingredient food (salmon). Possible environmental or food allergies (licking paws, wet facial folds). Other Considerations: Not a fit for apartments, condos, or dog parks. Very vocal, especially when alone. Noise-sensitive and easily startled by loud sounds. located -Lindsay
