Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / French Bulldog / Mixed. Maggie is a sweet soul and a whole lot of love to give. She’s the kind of dog who talks to you in silly whimpers, insists on lap time, and makes every day a little brighter! She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and knows all the basics—sit, stay, shake, and even an impressively cute roll over! She’s adjusted quickly to her foster home and thrives with routine and attention. Maggie is vocal at times—her bark is sharp and high-pitched—so she cannot live in a home with shared walls (no apartments/townhomes). She goes for daily walks (which she loves!), loves tug of war and fetch, and is excellent on a leash. While she can have bursts of playful energy, her favorite thing is simply being near her person, whether lounging indoors or sunbathing while you garden. Maggie gets along well with other dogs and has lived peacefully with several cats. She hasn’t spent time around children in her current or previous home. Maggie will is ready to join you for both quiet moments and occasional goofy play! Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
