Dog Breed: Golden Retriever (medium coat). Hi there, friend. I’m an old Golden Retriever with a huge heart. These days, I take life at a slower pace, but let me tell you.. I’ve still got plenty of love to give. People are my favorite. Doesn’t matter if you’ve been gone for five minutes or five hours; I’ll greet you like you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me, every single time. A head scratch, a kind word, maybe a little leaning against your leg? That’s the good stuff. I also happen to be a bit of a connoisseur of sunbeams. Find me a warm patch on the porch or a soft spot by the window, and I’ll be there, stretched out with a big ol’ sigh, soaking it all in like a golden sponge. Now, treats... ah, treats. I might move a little slower than I used to, but shake that treat bag and you’ll see just how quickly these old paws can get moving. I’ve earned every snack, every nibble, every crunchy little reward and I savor them like fine cuisine. I may be greying around the muzzle and snoozing more than I used to, but my tail still wags just as hard when someone I love walks into the room.
