Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Foxhound / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 600. Cameron is a playful, laid-back puppy who’s off to a great start with crate and house training. He was bottle-raised from just three weeks old after being found with his littermates, so he’s well-socialized and comfortable being handled—but he’s just as happy curling up on the floor or stretching out on cool tile after playtime. This smart boy enjoys toys, tug-of-war with his sister, and making friends with anyone (animal or human) who welcomes him. He sleeps mostly through the night, lets you know when he needs to go outside, and is eager to learn—making him a great candidate for training. Cameron will grow into a large adult dog, so he’ll need a family prepared for his size and energy level, as well as one committed to continuing his training. In return, you’ll have a loyal, loving companion for life. Cameron is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 8/22/2025 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
