NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 8/17/2025: Fluffernutter - male - approx 3 years old - 10.12 pounds - Pekingese Reason for intake: Fluffernutter showed up at an elderly couple's home. Their daughter got involved to try to find the owner. The owner was found but indicated she didn't want him because he kept running away, she couldn't watch after him because she was dealing with a close and personal death. The daughter then reached out to us for help... and here he is. Fluffernutter is heading to our vet this week (8/18/2025) for everything he needs, including neutering. Stay tuned! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
