Dog Breed: Mastiff / Mixed (medium coat). Lucy (A139321) is a 5-year-old Mastiff Mix who weighed 60.8 pounds on intake! 08/14/25 This pretty and excitable lady is Lucy! And who doesn’t love Lucy! Miss Lucy was surrendered to the shelter because her prior owner felt that they were no longer able to meet Lucy’s needs. She was described as a very active dog who gets bored easily. She is looking for a home that can keep her mentally and physically stimulated – so not only just exercise, but maybe some puzzle toys too or extra training sessions! Lucy was said to be kennel trained, rides well in a car, and is housebroken (will go to the door). She also knows her basic commands enjoys playing with the ball (she even knows the command leave it). Lucy was said to do well with people of all ages, including children. However, she can be a bit pushy with small kiddos and her last owner felt she may doe better in a home without small children. Lucy was also said to be selective with it came to meeting other female dogs and has no experience around smaller critters. Lucy was noted to have a lump on the top of her head, which our shelter vetranarian belives to be a cyst that will drain however she was given the clear for adoption. If the cyst is still present in the follwing months our lovely shelter vet stated that she will remove it if needed. If you choose to introduce her to new animals, please ensure you do so in a slow, safe, and controlled environment. Lucy is a young, active pup looking for her new person to go on adventures with.
