NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 8/22/2025: Evita - female - 10+ years old - 5.2 pounds - Pomeranian Reason for intake: Bossier City Animal Control contacted us about this little girl. She was brought in to be surrendered but BCAC didn't have room. They gave her a date to bring her back... and she agreed. Apparently, though, she didn't want to wait. Evita came back with someone else who said they saw her being dumped on East Texas Street, which is near the shelter. (wow) Nevertheless, she is safe now. She's heading to our vet the week of 8/25/2025, for everything she needs. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
