Dog Breed: Papillon / Mixed (medium coat). Say hello to Sandy! This sweet 2-year-old, 13-pound Papillon mix is a certified love bug who always has a smile on her face. For the past five weeks she has been the best mommy to her three baby boys, and now that her mom duties are wrapping up, she’s ready to find a forever family of her own. Sandy has a soft, gentle nature—she enjoys exploring the backyard, lounging in the sun, and most of all, snuggling on your lap. She loves playing with toys, enjoying treats, and gets along well with other dogs big and small once she feels comfortable. Sandy could thrive as the only dog or with a canine companion. While her past is unknown, when she first arrived she didn’t know basic commands, how to walk on a leash, or even how to go up and down stairs. With love and patience, she has made incredible progress and learned so much about the good life. Sandy is truly the best girl and so deserving of a forever family to love her. Could that be you?
