Dog Breed: Border Collie / Australian Shepherd (long coat). Border Collie/Aussie mix female puppy Meet Oceanna, an adorable Border Collie/Aussie mix puppy. Oceanna and her siblings were the result of either an accidental litter or an experiment in backyard breeding. These Central Valley kids were shelter or orchard bound if not scooped up by our renegade rescuer. We are seeing to it that mom and dad get sterilized and all these puppies will go home on spay / neuter contracts. It’s too bad some of their littermates had already been given away. We’ll be rescuing their puppies in a year from now. Oceanna is fluffy and sweet as pie, but don’t let that fool you, she will need an active, breed savvy home to ensure she remains a good canine citizen.
