Dog Breed: Terrier / Papillon / Mixed. A WONDERFUL LITTLE FRIEND: Approx. 9 years old / Approx. 14 lbs. Hi there, I’m Banjo! Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am sure happy about that! I needed bloodwork and a good dental cleaning when I arrived and I've had that done, thanks to a generous grant from the Grey Muzzle Organization! Now I’m ready to find my furever home and I’m in a wonderful foster home while I wait. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I’ve recently met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and – while I did not initiate play with them, I seemed to do best with other mellow dogs. So, if you have a nice calmer dog at home that is not necessarily looking for a playmate, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m the sweetest, most delightful and friendly boy! A ‘people dog’ who just loves being with people. Pick me up and hold me close — I’ll happily snuggle in, my soft, fluffy fur making me extra cuddly. I walk with a cheerful little pep in my step, and I’m a good passenger in the car, riding calmly as we go. In fact, I accompanied some volunteers on a recent social outing and did great out and about with the folks I met. I’m ready to bring love, joy, and companionship to my furever family. My foster also reports that I’m super chill and just a wonderful dog. / My energy level is 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I don’t seem to know any specific skills yet, but you can teach me some and I am a nice leash walker. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts and in my foster home. / I had some accidents while I was at the shelter, but I’m doing well in my foster home on their schedule. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I’m all about giving and receiving affection. Belly rubs are one of my favorite things, and I’ll gladly roll over for as many as you’re willing to give. I’m also a big fan of men and stuffed toys and I’m sure we’ll find lots of other fun things we can do together! / Cars driving by make me a bit nervous, so let’s find quieter places to walk than the busy street around the shelter. I can’t think of any other dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I take a daily over the counter joint supplement (Cosequin) to keep my joints feeling their best. I’ve had a dental cleaning, so my mouth is nice and fresh now. I’ve been on urinary care food and currently don’t have any stones or crystals – just ask about that if you are interested in making me part of your family. I am looking for a loving home with a great family for life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
