Pet Description: Rambo is a ten-year old ShihTzu (surrendered to us when his owner could no longer care for him. Rambo came in at 28 lbs and, as of Sep, is down to 25 lbs - needs to be more like 20 lbs. Rambo is incredibly sweet and deserves a lot of loving (and some more exercise) for the 2nd half of his life. Rambo is great with other dogs and just adores getting attention. He does bark at one of our office cats but the cat is a butthead who teases him. No children please. He has improved greatly on housetraining after he was neutered and also since we get him outside during the day. Rambo came in shaved but his coat is regrowing nicely and about time for a grooming. DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more. (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).
