He wasn’t socialized much in his earlier years, which made him very bonded to his person. Because of this, adjusting to life at the rescue—surrounded by lots of new people—was a challenge for him at first. With time, patience, and kindness, we’ve seen Kylo start to open up and show his sweet personality. However, he does not like men, most likely because his owner was a woman and that may have been the only person he was around. So, he will need a female only home. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys spending time with trusted people. Kylo would do best in a quieter home, without children, where he can feel safe, secure, and continue building confidence at his own pace. He also needs to be the only dog in the home, so he can soak up all the love and attention for himself.
