Dog Breed: Pomeranian. Sugar and spice and everything nice…this is super sweet BonnieB all rolled up in one 10 pound package!  She is 8 years young and her little heart is big on loving.  BB is still a bit shy but once she is given time and space, she will follow you around like a little shadow. BonnieB does well with everything furry outside of her home, but can not live with another female dog. She loves boy dogs though and would do well with a male companion or a few. She is good with women, men and older children.  She will do best in a quiet home as new and loud noises make her jump for two seconds and then she settles down very quickly.  She does well in a car, is leash-trained (will walk for 15-20 minutes although her preference is to be inside), crate-trained, and house-trained.  BB is learning a couple of commands (“sit” and “shake hands”) and is smart so will be a fast learner with continued training and treats…although careful with the treats as she is slightly overweight and on a prescription diet which is helping (along with the long walks and zoomies in the house).  BB is a snuggler being next to her Pawparent and loves belly rubs and massages…be careful or she will have you doing that all day long!  She has soft, beautiful healthy hair which should be brushed daily to keep it from getting matted. And she makes a great watch dog letting you know when people come to the door!  If you are looking for a best friend who will love you unconditionally and forever, then BB is your girl!  To adopt BonnieB, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups (we are happy to be of assistance for any adopter or foster to adopt home).
