Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. A VERY SWEET GIRL: Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 49 lbs. Hi, my name’s Sharla! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. I was hesitant when I first arrived, but it did not take long for me to figure out that there is lots of love and good care for me here, so now I’m ready to find a loving family and start living a good life with them! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but it doesn’t take long before my tail starts wagging and I’m wiggling my way right into your lap for hugs. Personal space? Never heard of it – once I love you, I’m all in! At the shelter, I was nervous about my very first bath, but once the suds and scrubs started, I relaxed, leaned into my bather’s shoulder, and left feeling fresh with a happy bounce in my step. I also got to go on a fun adventure with a volunteer where I enjoyed a pup cup, belly rubs, and lots of snuggles. The volunteers say I’m going to make the most wonderful bestie! / Energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great commands with my trainer. Check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having some accidents on the shelter schedule, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy being with people and find comfort just sitting near them and being loved. I love cuddles – especially ear and head scratches and feeling that I’m loved. I’m sure we’ll discover lots of things we will like doing together. / Getting in and out of cars is new to me, so let’s work on that together. Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a loving home with a wonderful family for life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
