DISCO: NOT AT SHELTER (SHARRIE) - SHIH TZU / POODLE (TOY) / MIXED (MEDIUM COAT) DOG FOR ADOPTION

Description

Dog Breed: Shih Tzu / Poodle (Toy) / Mixed (medium coat). Disco is adjusting very well to family life. He gets along well with other dogs. He has had no exposure to cats in this foster home, but I feel he would adjust to having a cat around. He is smaller than most cats. He loves to be close to his person. Disco really likes to cuddle. He is working very hard on house training. He will use a pee pad if he can't get outside. He is still unsure of grass as he is reported to have never been outside before coming into care. Disco does not travel well. He gets motion sickness. We are working on leash training. He is not a fan. Disco is a sweet, sweet dog that really wants to be close to his person and please them. With a little time and patience, Disco will be a great companion in a home with or without other dogs. Disco is one of several dogs who recently came to us from a home where they were never outside. He is flourishing in a foster home with canine friends who are mentoring him and teaching him all about grass, walking on the leash, as well as house training. He is doing well!
