She and her partner-in-crime, Louise, were found running the streets together—two fearless little souls looking out for each other until help arrived. They were rescued by animal control and now that Thelma’s road trip days are behind her, she’s ready to trade street life for sofa snuggles and a forever home! This sweet girl is the total package — house trained and pee pad trained, a gentle friend to other dogs (though she can be a bit shy at first), and an affectionate little snugglebug who loves to be close to her person. She would prefer a household with older, considerate children or no children at all so she can be your one and only! Although, she would do best being in a home with another dog as she loves a companion dog. Thelma’s favorite things include toys, socks, and Nylabones — she’ll keep herself entertained and then curl up next to you for a well-deserved nap. She’s a great listener with excellent recall, and she brings a smile to everyone’s face with her playful, bouncy hops around the yard — like a tiny kangaroo full of joy. Whether she’s running, playing, or snoozing through the night, Thelma radiates gratitude and sweetness. Thelma would thrive in a loving home where she can be someone’s devoted little shadow.
