Dog Breed: Siberian Husky (short coat). Eevee (A139512) is a 3-year-old Siberian Husky who weighed nearly 50 pounds on intake! 09/16/25 Miss Eevee is back at the shelter after a short adoption period because her most recent owner ran into housing issues with having a dog. While in her most recent home, Eevee was said to mind well and to be gentle when playing. If you are interested in meeting Eevee, give us a call! 09/01/25 This sweet but clumsy girl is Eevee! Eevee was surrendered to the shelter because her prior owner felt she needed more room to roam, and she kept knocking over the small child in the home. This was not in any malicious way, but due to her lack of body awareness. If you have small kiddos in the home, please keep this in mind. She was said to be friendly towards children, strangers, and adults but lacks some basic manners and might jump on you. We encourage her next owner to bring her to a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on her manners. Eevee was said to be kennel-trained and housebroken but does not know any basic commands. She was described as vocal, as most huskies are! She has no experience with smaller critters and was known to bark/talk towards dogs. Huskies are known for having high prey drives, so if you have those smaller critters around, she may not be the best choice. Please ensure you are always making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new pets! Huskies are a high energy breed and she is looking for a home that can keep her both mentally and physically stimulated. If you are interested in meeting Eevee, please let us know!
