Bagel the mixed breed might be the perfect playful companion you’ve been waiting for. Bagel is an adorable mixed breed puppy born on February 5th, 2025, making her just about 7 months old and weighing 30 pounds. She’s a beautiful black, brown, and white girl who came to Little Paws when her previous owner suffered a spine injury and could no longer care for her. This sweet pup is ready to bring joy and energy to a new family. Environment Bagel is a high-energy puppy who needs daily walks and plenty of playtime to keep her happy and well-exercised. While she’d love a fenced yard to explore and dig in (fair warning - she’s quite the little excavator!), it’s not absolutely necessary as long as she gets adequate exercise. She’s learning fast that her crate is a relaxing place and does great when left alone as long as she’s crated. She’s not noisy and does fine in homes with shared walls. This smart cookie learns extremely fast and is eager to please, making her a wonderful candidate for a family ready to invest in training and exercise. Pets & People Bagel is incredibly social and loves every person she meets, young and old alike. She’s been friendly with everyone she’s encountered so far and has even met a kitten without issues! She’s very playful with other dogs and gets along beautifully with all her canine friends. Being food motivated makes her great for training, and she loves treats. As a teething puppy, she enjoys chew toys, and redirecting her attention with a ball game works perfectly when needed. Location Bagel is available for adoption from Sanford, North Carolina and she travels well in the car without getting carsick.
