Description
Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees (long coat). Adoption Fee: $400. Say hello to Sebastian , an 11-week-old Great Pyrenees (or mix) with a heart as big as his future paws! This fluffy boy is already showing signs that he’ll grow into a medium-to-large adult — and an even bigger cuddle bug. Sebastian is the definition of sweet. He loves to snuggle up next to you (or in your lap if you’ll let him!) and makes an excellent companion or guardian. Whether you're on the couch or out in the yard, he's happy to be nearby. This little guy is great with kids , other dogs , and even chickens — a gentle soul in the making. He’s currently working on housebreaking and learning his puppy manners , and he sleeps through the night in his crate like a champ. Sebastian would thrive in a home where he’ll get plenty of love, patience, and positive reinforcement as he grows. He’s still a puppy, so a family ready to help him continue his training will set him up for lifelong success. Because of his breed, a fenced yard is required, If you're looking for a loving, loyal companion with a soft heart and an even softer coat, Sebastian might just be your perfect match. Please email us at AlmostHome4Dogsyahoo for more info or an application. (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) NOTE: Most puppies do best in the company of an older dog who can teach them "doggy manners," so homes with at least one other dog usually will be given preference in puppy adoptions. Please read Suzanne Clothier's wonderful article, "It Takes a Pack to Raise a Puppy!" PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php . We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us atAlmostHome4Dogsyahoo. To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line. For Meet & Greet times and locations, visit our home page, where you also will find information on our adoption process and fees. FOSTER FAMILIES ARE LIFESAVERS!! Can you open your heart and home for a few weeks to homeless shelter dog? Remember, by fostering a dog, you save TWO lives — that of your foster dog, and that of the dog who takes his place in the shelter! Come to a Meet & Greet and find out if fostering is for you — there's no reward quite like the feeling that you've saved a life ... or two!
