Name:   Jerry         Best Guess for Breed:   Lab and terrier mix Best Guess for Age:  5 months as of September 2025          SEX: Male   Approximate Weight:   28 lbs as of 9/21/25 - he is still growing!   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Special Adoption Considerations:        Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.    Jerry is Looking For:  His forever home! He's at the tail end of puppyhood and is eager to have his humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up! And he'd love to make pup and people pals along the way. Quality kibble, cushy dog bed, chew dog toys - yes, please, to all those.   But above all he wants to be safe and loved, to know where he belongs - and upon whom to bestow all those happy tail wags, to whom to pledge loyal companionship.
