Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Midnight (A139685) is a 1-and-a-half-year-old lab mix who weighed over 30 lbs at intake! 09/18/25 This handsome and sweet little dude is Midnight! Midnight was brought to the shelter because his previous owner felt they did not have the time or energy to properly train and work with him. Midnight is a young boy who has not had much structure in his life. He is very eager to please and very affectionate and sweet. He is looking for a patient person that can help him learn some manners. Enrolling him in a basic obedience course with a certified trainer would be a great idea! He also needs some help with potty training. He was said to be kennel trained and was described as being an outgoing and friendly dog. Midnight was said to get along with the other dogs in his home, but he liked to chase the cats. IT would be best for his next home to not include any kitties. Midnight was said to do better with women than men, and he was said to do well with kids and strangers for the most part. He can be shy around some strangers. Midnight has received a dental cleaning courtesy of our amazing shelter fund after care staff noted some gingivitis on intake. While at the vet they found that Midnight had numberous abnormalities noted with his teeth. They suspect that something impacted his tooth development and compromised the pulp cavity on most of his teeth. He had multiple extractions and it was recommended that he follow up with MMAH in 6-12 months. It is suspected he will need another dental at that time.
