Dog Breed: Miniature Pinscher / Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 550. Meet Buster! Buster is a sweet, affectionate 3-year-old pup who’s been around people his whole life—and it shows. He absolutely adores human company and is happiest when he's by your side (or under the covers, snuggled up close!). This well-behaved boy knows his basic commands and is fully house-trained. He’s done great out of the kennel during short errands and hasn’t had any accidents. Buster walks well on a harness, though he does get excited and pull a bit—there's just so much to sniff out there! Here’s a sweet video of Buster! He’s friendly with everyone he meets and recently did wonderfully with a 5-year-old child, calmly soaking up all the hugs and attention. While Buster can act a little tough when he sees other dogs pass by the window (cue the dramatic barking), he hasn’t had direct interactions with other dogs yet. That said, his affectionate nature suggests he'd likely do well with a proper introduction. Buster enjoys playing with toys but would much rather spend quality time with his person. He’s a professional cuddler, loves giving kisses, and has a quirky habit of working his way under the blankets at bedtime. Like many pups, he has a bit of an overactive love drive (yes, the humping), but we’re hopeful that will improve once he’s neutered. Overall, Buster is a happy, loyal, and loving companion who’s ready to find his forever home with someone who appreciates big hearts, warm snuggles, and a little goofy charm.
