He’s polite, patient, and calm, everything you’d hope for in a loyal companion. He enjoys a slow-paced lifestyle and would do well in a relaxed home with kind people and maybe a dog friend or two. He gets along well with other dogs, especially calm males or friendly females. While he can be unsure around more dominant or overly energetic male dogs, he remains respectful and simply prefers peace over rough play. Finch has also done well with cats, responding gently to their cues and quickly backing off when asked. Finch is crate trained and comfortable being crated for extended periods during the day. He is fully house trained and has not had any accidents in his foster home, typically going out three times a day. He walks well on leash with limited experience and is gaining confidence with each outing.
