Dog Breed: Golden Retriever. Meet Sullivan—But You Can Call Him Sully Born July 1, this golden-hearted Golden Retriever is ready to charm his way into yours. Sully is the kind of puppy who believes laps were made for lounging and belly rubs are a basic right. He’s sweet, social, and already knows how to use a pet door to go potty—making house training a breeze because he prefers to potty outside and not in his puppy pen. Sully’s been lovingly socialized and is learning all the good habits that make for a smooth transition into family life. Whether he’s snuggling with his plush toy or gently nudging your hand for affection or more belly rubs, we can’t say enough about this wonderful boy.. Sully is up to date on vaccinations, started on heartworm and flea prevention and is microchipped. He will not be neutered before adoption. The adopter will need to sign a spay/neuter agreement and provide a deposit of $75. This deposit will be retained by us and refunded to the adopter upon providing proof of spay/neuter according to the terms of our adoption agreement. We have specific requirements for Sullivan's adoption: We will only accept applicants who are located in Indiana or Illinois 1. A fenced-in backyard is required—no invisible fences. If your condo or HOA does not allow a fence, we may consider alternative options on a case-by-case basis. 2. Someone who is home more during the day and has time to devote to a puppy. 3. Children must be eight years of age or older. 4. We will consider families with no dogs or one dog (no multiple dog households). A meet-and-greet may be required with your dog. 5. You agree to use a puppy pen not a crate To apply, please complete an application on our website .indianasaveadog. We kindly ask that you do not email us. If a puppy is listed on our website, it is still available. Unlike a public shelter with a physical location, our puppies are placed in foster homes. When you place a deposit on a puppy, it is fully refundable if you attend your adoption appointment and decide not to proceed with the adoption. We will require a deposit to hold Sully. Given the expected high volume of applications, a deposit helps us ensure that we have serious adopters. We accept a $50 deposit to hold a puppy after your application has been approved. Once you place a deposit, your puppy will be marked as pending.
