Description
Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Great Pyrenees / Mixed. Hi, my name is Kelso! I am a 6 month old Lab/Great Pyr mix that weighs 52lbs. I was originally found off of Caruth in Rockwall on 09/26/25, and sadly never reclaimed by my owner. I am now available for adoption and I am looking for a new loving family of my own! My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered and am current on my Rabies vaccines, basic boosters and dewormer. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email infoRockwallAdoptions. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.

Breed overview

Overview:
Labrenees or Pyrador is the mix of one large-sized dog; the Great Pyrenees and one medium-sized dog; Labrador Retriever. As a hybrid, it has better quality than its parent breeds as the traits and characteristics are mixed. These are very large dogs that are typically more cooperative and trainable than the Great Pyrenees, but more discriminating and naturally protective than the Labrador Retriever.
