He’s in that lanky, growing puppy phase and lives life with joy and wonder. With his medium energy level, Huck loves to romp around with friends, explore his surroundings, and then happily nap the afternoon away. Huckleberry gets along great with other dogs and currently lives with many in his southern foster home. He greets new dogs with a wag and plays respectfully once comfortable. He hasn’t lived with cats, but his gentle nature suggests he may do well with a dog-savvy feline friend. While he hasn’t met children yet, his sweet personality makes him a likely match for dog-savvy kids. Huck’s favorite things include car rides, squeaky toys, and any adventure that lets him tag along with his people. This smart pup is picking up new routines quickly. He’s crate trained and will often settle right down with a treat. He’s doing very well with house training and continues to improve when taken out on a regular schedule. Huck has started leash walking and is doing well—he’ll thrive with continued structure and consistency as he explores the world on foot. Huckleberry’s playful spirit and affectionate heart make him easy to fall for. He’s got the best mix of silly and sweet—and he’s ready to grow up with his forever family by his side.
