Dog Breed: Maltese / Poodle (unknown type) / Mixed (long coat). Adoption Fee: 300. Sweet little OZZY is a MaltiPoo searching for a loving home. This tiny darling lost his loving home when his mom was no longer able to care for him. He's about 7 years old and tips the scales at 8 pounds. Ozzy's happy place is in your arms. He loves to be carried and cradled. Ozzy is accustomed to life with a senior and is best suited to a quiet home. He's okay with other dogs but not terribly interested, he just wants to be carried and loved. His beautiful coat will require regular grooming, his adopter should be prepared for that expense. Ozzy needs a home in the greater Cincinnati area. The little guy needs a dental so his adopter needs to be able to drop him off at our vet and pick him up after surgery. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
